About Me

Another Kiwi living in Melbourne. I like to dance like a moron, being an idiot and stuff, don't take my self very seriously, although I can do when it matters.

>Please note that Melbourne is an expensive city, and I believe some of the best things it has to offer are totally worth paying for, so if you'd like to stay with me please allow some spare cash to spend on a nice meal or a ticket to a concert.<

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

First time surfing had me in Nichome, the gay district of Tokyo singing 'Love Shack' in a tiny karaoke bar. Since then there's been a whole load of weird, strange, fun and interesting experiences.

Interests

Live music, art, weird performance type stuff. You know all the usual suspects.

Music, Movies & Books

I listen to a lot of rap, I like the variety it has to offer. From Kendrick Lamar to Danny Brown and Blackalicious I dig it all.

Electronic stuff is good, Nicolaas Jaar is perfect on a lazy Sunday as is some heavier stuff to get loose.

Movies are great, top three would be No Country For Old Men, Django Unchained and Fight Club. Any dark movie with humorous undertones and I'l love it.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Jumping out of a plane 14k ft in the air over New Zealand, seeing coast to coast and laughing like a maniac on the way down.

Hanging out with turtle bros in the great barrier reef, snorkeling around, looking at all the deadly poisonous things down there under the water.

Playing James Bond on a snowmachine in Alaska, riding over a frozen lake at over 80km/ph underneath a low flying Cessna before hitting a mogul and catching massive(not really) air.

Teach, Learn, Share

Cooking is my profession, sharing food is a passion of mine.

I get pretty nerdy with keeping up with current music through blogs so like to share and swap new music with people.

Tell me the last song you listened to!

What I Can Share With Hosts

I can offer a nice home cooked meal and a good yarn, I'm pretty good at finding out whats going on in a city even if I'm new there and also not bad at getting along and opening up with strangers.

Countries I've Visited

Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Indonesia, Japan, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, United States

Countries I've Lived In
