I grew up in the Byron Bay hinterland, in NSW, Australia. I moved to Brisbane for University, and worked a bunch of different jobs, travelled a bunch of eastern Asia, Europe, Southern Africa, the Middle East and Central America. I'll be back playing street music and some casual high school teaching when back in Aus.
I enjoy meeting people and having a good chat, especially about their culture (sounds cliche, I know haha) - very interesting.
My partner and I are two vegetarians and we are travelling together on this trip. She is a social science student majoring in development, who likes to hike and experience different cultures. We're not your average boring couple - always up for meeting people and socialising :)

I love travelling and learning about the world via locals (and saving some cash!). It really adds depth to a trip.
