About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See the world

ABOUT ME

Well, my name is Nicole and I'm from Sweden. I have spent the last few years "on the road" and am currently making my way around Asia, with, I guess, Japan as my main hub (that is where I keep returning to anyway).

I am a baker and pastry chef by profession, but currently work as a freelance-writer. I enjoy art, music, food (gotta love food! ;)), etc.
And I suck at writing presentations, haha.

PHILOSOPHY

That's a tricky one! I think what I am personally looking for is happiness and peace of mind. I believe that if you have that, then you don't need much else.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have given it a few tries with both positive and negative experiences, I am hoping for more of the positive variety. Since I am currently travelling and don't have a homebase, I unfortunately can't host anyone.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A few in Seoul, Korea and in Japan.

Music, Movies, and Books

Well, for the most part I am open to suggestions in all fields. I, unfortunately, don't watch many movies (because I don't like watching them on my own), but when it comes to music I listen to everything from classical to heavy metal. My favorite musician is "hide" (Hideto Matsumoto) though.
I am a little bit more picky about books, although I do love a good story, but I get easily bored, generally, haha. Haruki Murakami is an awesome writer though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling on a shoe-string
