ABOUT ME

How should I know? I'm turning 58 and start feeling alive. It takes time to understand what life is all about...

PHILOSOPHY

Never believe that you know better and that you are special. And I also think that as nomads do, we should be able to "s'attacher" and then "s'arracher".
This is food for thought and allows us to feel free but also true to ourselves and others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've always greeted young people at home. They were from Russia, Germany, Ireland. They usually were part of a choir, perfomed in a play or took part in an exchange.We also had an American teacher once. I always had great fun and we did quite interesting things together. But most of the time they were teenagers or young adults .

兴趣

I am interested in discovering things by myself, I like eye openers. I love going abroad and I enjoy things which are simple and genuine. I like theatre very much and I like performing in a clown as well as a buffon workshop.

"Beats, rhymes and life" (a great sundance festival movie), Zaddie Smith's novels, Yasmina Khadra, R&B, rock, Reaggae, West Indies music... I love dancing

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Have three children who are 24, 30 and 32 and I'm a grandma of 3 baby girls!
I saw two old ladies driving the wrong way, on the highway, we almost bumped into their small car, they were so frightened.
I fell in love with one of the blue men.
Going back to school and meet my old teachers 20 years later.

I know how to listen, to trigger off interest, surprise, for a short period but still... I love teaching French as a foreign language and ... English (I teach in a vocational scool) though I don't travel enough yet and need more practice.
