I want to meet new people and immerse myself in a culture by actually interacting with locals.

Basically, I'm a normal human being who loves food, sleep, and travel. Aside from that, I also have a soft spot for volunteering for children, usually children with special needs.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music
Anything from Opera to EDM is my jam. I am very much open to getting to know new music.

Movies
I like a lot of movies. In fact, I can prove it to you by showing you my hard drive that probably has tons of movies and tv series. My top ten movies are V is for Vendetta, Pride and Prejudice, In Time, Blue is the Warmest Color, Legend of the Guardians, Taare Zameen Par, Magnifico, She's the Man, The Big Short, and Dead Poet's Society. As for tv series, Sherlock, and Game of Thrones would be some of my default favorites.

Books
Ahhhhhhh I cannot get enough of books. I devour them like steak and eggs. Anyway, I grew up reading Harry Potter so that means that I also read most of the books that are now made into movie franchises aka Hunger Games, Percy Jackson, etc. I also made it a point to read Orwell, Austen, Greene and others. Poetry is also an interest of mine (haikus, sonnets, free verse...) I have this habit of going to an author's book signing and then dedicating it to people who are about to celebrate their birthdays so it could be a gift. I also love book sales and secondhand stores so if you know some, maybe you can bring me there?

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach basic American Sign Language, I guess. More importantly, I can teach you about my country, the Philippines. I would want to learn your language and your culture. I hope we can share wonderful experiences together!

I usually bring tokens but if I don't have any when I meet you, I can share my stories and experiences about travelling and my passion, which is teaching children.
