About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Understanding what Judea Pearl means with causality

ABOUT ME

I love a good conversation about a film, a book, philosophy, politics, .... I love contructive conversation, including the listening and learning part of it.

PHILOSOPHY

Bayesian causalist with a tinge of estochastic essentialism, rather objectivist than subjectivist... In any case still evolving... (Obviously this is not serious, I do not broadcast my beliefs, I share them with whoever shares a beer with me)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I crossed what at the time was the front-line between hezbollah figthers and Israeli (Armée du Liban Sud) troops. We had to wait until the bombing stopped. Then we got the ok from the United Nations observers and we could cross. That is possibly the most exciting story I can tell, though my trip from Johannesburg to Maputo by car makes a good story too. BTW, we were there, in Lebanon, to furbish a hospital with equipment in Ain Ebel. This looks like a grandfather story... but you asked...

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Mozambique, South Africa, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
