About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To experiance all the world has to offer.

ABOUT ME

I started to travel in 2006 and fell in love with it. Now almost everything revolves around getting to the next destination. I've been snowboarding for a couple decades and love it. Partying and having a good time is what life is all about for me, work to live not live to work.

PHILOSOPHY

Just to enjoy life as much as humanly possible. Meet new people and treat everyone with respect and courtesy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I first hosted a couple guys from Germany for quite a while and had a great time. I work out of town for one week then have one week at home, so being able to host surfers depends if it lands on my time off.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As far as staying at other surfers places, not yet. I have hosted two travellers from Germany and it was great. I have traveled with alot of random people at many random places and had alot of fun meeting new people and seeing crazy places. Hostels have been my main accomadations over the last couple of years of travelling.

Interests

I like travelling of course. Any board sports, Snowboarding, skateboarding, wakeboarding, and surfing which I just picked up. Alot of outdoor stuff, camping, hiking, fishing, snowmobiling, and mountain biking. I like going out and having a couple of drinks with anyone who likes having a good time.

Music, Movies, and Books

Mostly non-fiction books, Marching Powder by Thomas McFadden. As for music, Lots of it. Everything from 70's, 80's, hiphop, Metal, Punk, some electronic stuff. Not too much country stuff. Movies would have to be mostly Comedy followed by Action.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As much as Las Vegas is a popular tourist spot in North America, that place is crazy. I love it there. Staying in the Amazon in northern Peru with almost nothing but pure peace. Macchu Picchu was a mind blowing place. Mountain biking down the worlds deadliest highway in Bolivia was a rush. World Cup in Germany was awesome, Germany did pretty good (I have German heritage) Snowboarding in the Rockies in Alberta will always be right up there. I've done a 6 country 10,000 km trip around South East Asia. Out of everything, the adventures on that trip have changed my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

If travelling alone and staying at hostels, stay at one with a bar. It's amazing how much easier it is to meet fellow travellers there.
