About Me
Hey everyone! I’m Seiyo—part-time entrepreneur, full-time snack enthusiast—on a mission to explore Toronto (June 3–6) and London (June 7–11). If you’ve got a couch (or even just a comfy floor space), I’ve got stories, jokes, and maybe a deck of cards waiting for you. Check out my company here: https://bizdata-official.jp/en/
My “superpowers” 😁
・Tour guide extraordinaire: Want to discover Japan’s best hidden ramen spots or hear wild tales about samurai and sushi? I’m your guy (China deep-dive available on request!).
・Home-chef wannabe: I make a mean Japanese curry—but you’ve got to give me a heads-up so I can dust off my apron (and my cooking skills 😂).
・Card-shark in training: A few slick card tricks up my sleeve—perfect icebreaker or party trick.
・Goal-setting buddy: I geek out on coaching, planning, and helping friends crush their to-do lists. Got a dream? Let’s map it out!
・Data geek alert: Curious about Japan’s AI & analytics scene? I can spill all the tea (data tea, of course).
About me (the “warts and all” version) 😎
Friends call me easy-going, open-minded, and kind. Full disclosure: I can also be painfully shy, a smidge stubborn, and sometimes I worry about whether I locked the front door.
What floats my boat 😊
・Jet-setting junkie: Been to China, New Zealand, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea… and I’m still hungry for more.
・Midnight stroller: Nighttime strolls + deep convos + a coffee (or mystery street snack) = my happy place. If you’re game, let’s wander!
・Board-game boss: From poker to Catan, I love a good friendly showdown.
・Sports fan: Tennis, soccer, badminton, table tennis… I’ll cheer you on (or cheerfully lose).
My origin story 🙌
Born in Japan to Chinese parents (so I’m a delicious 70/30 cultural mash-up). Discovered my travel bug in middle school after a life-changing trip to New Zealand. In high school, I flexed my math skills in the Math Olympiad. In college, I played tour guide for visiting American students—and never looked back.
Why Couchsurfing?
I’m here for the genuine connections—friends who I can laugh with, learn from, and maybe not see again for years but still call “family.” I want to dive into your culture’s quirkiest traditions, secret spots, and those little stories that don’t make the guidebooks. Got an insider tip? Slide into my messages!
Can’t wait to meet you—couch, card tricks, and all! 😁🌏
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm looking for deep friendships with people from all over the world. I want to build relationships that are meaningful and lasting. I want to be friends with people who I can connect with on a personal level, even if we don't see each other for years.
I'm also interested in learning about the deeper side of your culture. I know I can't experience everything your country has to offer in just a few days, but I want to learn as much as I can about your history, traditions, and unique perspectives. If you have any hidden gems or insider tips, I'd love to hear them!
