ABOUT ME

I'm from the outskirts of a tiny Northern Ontario town but am ready to explore the world and the wonders which it has to offer. I went to French Immersion from grades 5-12 and granduated with a bilingual certificate and really want to learn Spanish.

PHILOSOPHY

All who wander are not lost and time you enjoy wasting isn't wasted. You have to live the life you want to deep down. It doesn't have to be serious and mature, as long as you are happy with it. Get the most out of it, you never know what's hidden beyond the next bend. If there's something you don't like, change it. Be an activist for your morals and perform an act of kindness daily. The world is in need of a helping hand - and you have two. Don't judge a book by it's cover. You can always surprise yourself.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well thus far, I've just signed up, but hopefully through this project I can meet other people world wide with the same general goal of reaching out to eachother to make a more trusting world. Upon my return to Canada, I really hope I can host people from around the globe and show them an insiders view of Canada! As a host, I promise that the tea will always be on!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although I haven't yet connected with people through the site, my home growing up was basically a hostel for my friends as were theirs. In a town a spread out as mine, you spend most of your time on someones couch.

Interests

I live in a house where the music is on from sun-up to well past sun-down. I live through music and art, and love roadtrips, dancing photography, experimental film, tastefull accordian, old comedies, sailing, swimming, thrill rides at amusement parks, bicycles, cars and spiral staircases.

Movies: Indiana Jones, Amal, Caddyshack, Blues Brothers, Rebel Without A Cause, Edward Scissorhands, Fur, Big Fish, Woodstock, Ladies in Lavender, 007s (not with Daniel Craig) Secret Life of Bees, Monty Python's Holy Grail, Blazing Saddles, Best in Show and so many more.

Music: Beatles, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, The Who, The Animals, Joe Cocker, Clapton, BB King... Anything from 50's - 70's rock. I'm always up for live music.

Books: Secret Life of Bees, Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Harry Potter, 1000 Splendid Suns, Alice in Wonderland, Something from Nothing, Falling Up, 1984 and many more...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I snuck onto the floor at a Who concert and watched the show from second row center :P
