I've had a few Couchsurfing experiences, but I'd love to have some more!

Hi! My name is Selena, I'm 22, born and raised in Brisbane, Australia. Both my parents are Swiss. I've just finished studying a bachelor of laws and business in Brisbane. I'm due to begin working as a lawyer in March 2018.

Having eager traveller parents, I have always had a keen interest in seeing the world. Four years ago I decided that I wanted to learn Spanish, so I undertook a language course in Valencia for 3 months, after which I was an au pair in Badajoz, Spain. I then did interrail for 2 months. In 2015, I also studied for one semester at the University of Complutense, Madrid. This was such a fantastic experience! More recently, I travelled to China and had a wonderful time. I was accommodated by a fantastic Couch Surfing host! Always open to more diverse cultural experiences!

I am absolute dog lover, I have a Border Collie named Ricco and he is my best friend. I'd also love to get a Golden Retriever one day. I'm also keen to learn how to surf, because that's typically Australian - let's see how I go! I enjoy hiking and skiing when I get the chance!

To meet locals! I love being able to learn about a foreign place from people who live there. I think that's truly the best way to get to know a place!

兴趣

I think it goes without saying but I am interested in travelling! I love learning about the world, as I think it makes a more, well rounded individual. I love a bit of adventure. Over the last few years, I've become quite interested in hiking, so I'd like to see where that takes me! Other than that, I enjoy camping, canoeing and fishing.

I also have a love for languages. I am yet to fully master Spanish... it's getting there! Last year I tried my hand at Chinese, which didn't go down quite as well! I'm also interested in learning French.
