Hello! I am Selim, I am someone who is always open to learning and exploring, who loves to live life to the fullest. I was born and raised in Turkey and discovered how getting to know different cultures, people and stories enriches my life.

In my daily life, I do e-commerce, I go to the gym for my body structure and health, and in my free time, I read books, go for walks, and go to the cinema. I am especially excited about nature walks, street food or art galleries.

When I go to a new city, I don't want to be content with just visiting touristic places; I am happier to experience its streets, markets and people's daily lives. I love chatting about people's cultures and views of life, and learning new things from them.

I define myself as a friendly, open-minded and easy-going person. My top priority is to have a warm conversation and create beautiful memories in the houses I visit. I also like to share things and expand each other's horizons with mutual stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, traveling is not just about seeing new places; it is about meeting new people, experiencing different cultures and seeing life through their eyes. Couchsurfing is one of the most natural and intimate ways to make these connections.

Instead of staying in a hotel, being a guest in someone's home allows me to discover stories and traditions that I cannot learn from a city guide alone. At the same time, I like to contribute to this mutual learning process by sharing my own culture and perspective on life.
