Hi! I'm Selina from Austria and I've been working as an Au Pair for the last 2 years in NY, LA and Denver and now that i finally finished worked I'll get 1 more month to travel and enjoy the last part of my gap year(s). I love traveling and I've been to 36 states so far - to most of them spontaneously and to some of them only for a few hours. I really enjoy meeting new interresting people and sharing (travel) stories with them. Unfortunately I'm currently not able to host myself because of my living situation (I am traveling right now and lived with my hostfamily before) but I'd be more than happy to offer a place/couch to stay when I'm back in Austria and when I have my own apartment in Vienna when I start studying next fall.

Musica, film e libri

I like most kinds of music and I'm open to almost everything. I started liking country music since I visited Nashville and I really like line dancing, it’s so fun! Other than that I like the Chainsmokers (I even went to Boulder because of their song closer), Spanish music and I think there’s nothing better than a long road trip playlist. Despite that I would listen to everything under the right circumstances. I don't watch that much TV because I'm quiet busy but I love to see movies which are set in places I've been to (which is so fun when you recognize the places). I love to read but I haven't read that much either recently - I also like poems and Oscar Wilde.

taking the bus from NYC to Miami (guess how long the bus ride was)
traveling from LA to Barbados and back just to see my best friend there for less than 24 hours
driving 8 hours to Grand Canyon to only have 15 minutes left to actually see it
Northern lights in Alaska
2 am surfing in SD

I can teach you some German if you want to and I'm always happy to learn something new and try new things. Oh and I'd really love to learn Spanish.
