Hello there! I am Selina from Germany.
I studied education science in Germany. I am social worker in a school and I help students with problems which they have.

I love to travel. At the moment I have "time out" from my work until August 24 next year.

It is time to travel again in Asia!!!
It is my second time here. In 2018/ 2019 I traveled for seven months.
Right now I am traveling already since October 2023. Already a half year! I know the time is running.
I was in Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Philippines and Indonesia.
In few days I am going to India!! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing has impressed me very much. Without it I would’ve never traveled as much as I’m doing it right now. Couchsurfing never makes you feel alone and makes it possible to continuously meet new people with lots of different characters.

Even today, I’m still in contact with some of my hosts who hosted me four years ago. I have developed a really good friendship with some of them.

I really appreciate that so many hosts have hosted me already and would like to say thank you to everyone and also to those who I’ve met on the street.
I share so many rememberance with you guys that I will never forget.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2017, I traveled the United States alone for 6 weeks. It was my first solo trip and it was amazing. I used couchsurfing all the time and met so many different people. I still have contact with some people today.
