Hi, I’m Selina from a small village in Bavaria, Germany. In my job as a social worker I worked last year with children and teenagers helping them to get the perspective in their life back. My boyfriend Jonas is Bachelor of Engineering in the sector of renewable energies. We are a very open minded couple, love to laught together and are friendly.

We started travelling in September last year in Singapore and spent the following four weeks in Indonesia. Arrived in Jakarta, we travelled by bus and train right across the island Java and took finally the ferry to Bali.
Our journey of Australia began in Darwin, where we bought a campervan and started an awesome roadtrip on the Stuart Highway through the red desert and the heart of the continent. After standing speechless in front of the mystical Uluru and getting sick of the endless view on nothing but red sand and stock paddocks, we finally reached Adelaide and consequently a bit of civilisation. We had not a bad time there working on a small private vineyard in the famous Barossa Valley, but even that time came to an end. So we took the Great Ocean Road to Melbourne, flew to Tasmania and celabrated New Years Eve in Sydney. All in all we spent three months in Australia and did Wwoofing the most of the time. It was really worth it, but also to short for such a big country.
From January until the middle of June we travelled around New Zealand and we think we saw the most of this amazing country with its sandy bays, vulcanos, jungles and snowy mountains in the fiordland. Along the way we tried couchsurfing several times and got such as wonderful moments with our hosts.
Shortly, we fly on fiji and finally to San Francisco!

On our journey we would love to meet many interesting people, who travelled a bit, too, and share their stories with us. We slept in hostels many times before and we would rather stay and keep in touch with locals!
