ABOUT ME

I'm a social, open minded, easy-going person. I take every possible opportunity to experience new things. I'm not so afraid of the unknown. I care a lot. I try to be spontaneous. I like to be challenged. I like human connections. I also really like lists, very efficient!

1. I'm studying Chemical Engineering and minor in Environmental Engineering at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. 2. Born in China, lived in Calgary, Canada, now studying in Montreal. I love both cultures and also have a lot of say about both 3. I am now studying in copenhagen for a semester. It's been a nice break from the normal routine and also an adventure finding balance and peace in the new routine. I look forward to exploring more of this part of the world and to soak up the moments!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed in Belgium and the Netherland for about 3 weeks in total the summer of 2012, and it was such a rewarding experience. It taught me to trust, to enjoy the simple company of people, the joy and excitement of the unknown, to be spontaneous, to be adventurous. I sadly have not been able to host people here in Montreal. I hope at some point, I will be living with people and in a place which would permit me to host other travelers.

music: live music is always the best. depend on my mood, indie pop, rock, jazz, songwriter, acoustic, folk, what do you like? I love discovering new music.
movies: A LOT of Woody Allen movies; Wes Anderson, Coen Brothers movies. Documentaries are also great.

books: I am working on reading more, just finished Catch-22, FANTASTIC!

I could share with you my knowledge in technology (energy related mostly...), food and many other fun facts that's in my head! I could teach you mandarin...

I would love to learn more about gardening, Indian cooking, another language, an instrument, i don't want to bore you with the infinitely long list in my head right now.
