I'm light-hearted, spontaneous and open-minded and I enjoy trying out new things. Sometimes I have difficulties with taking decisions, but that usually only bothers myself. I'm hospitable and will try to help out wherever I can! Sometimes I'm a little shy if I can't assess my dialogue partner.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed many couches of friends and relatives and I'm looking forward to hosting foreign people soon, so called strangers (or maybe just friends I haven't yet met). And I'm very excited about getting in contact with other CSpeople, maybe I'll surf YOUR couch in a little while?

Interests

I love my friends, nature, books, honey, snow, sneezing, writing, family celebrations, my bed, my green bike, rivers, lions, hot chocolate, observing people in the train imagining their lifestory, foreign languages, strolling in the woods, mashed potatoes, mathematics I understand, designing birthdaycards, writing and receiving long letters, visiting plays, ballets, and musicals, training our dog, pebbles, rocks & mountains, pinning postcards, photos and newspaper cuts on my wall

Music, Movies, and Books

Wide range from fantasy books to classic literature.
At the moment I'm reading The Secret Garden (Frances Hodgson Burnett), Der Hundertjährige der aus dem Fenster stieg und verschwand (Jonas Jonasson), "Komponirt ist schon alles - aber geschrieben noch nicht" (Wolfgang Mozart) and Surely you're joking Mr. Feynman (Richard Feynman).
I really love any kind of folk tales and legends, especially if told by a talented storyteller.
I don't listen to a lot of different artists, but I like music e.g. by, The Bianca Story, Gogol Bordello, Blue October, Die Ärzte, Muse, Incubus, Subway to Sally, Halestorm, Mando Diao, Three Doors Down,..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked up a volcano in CR in heavy tropical rain showers and swam in the crater lake. Saved some leatherback turtle babies.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you some words in the languages I know, I enjoy inventing storys together with other people, I like to share travelexperiences or traveldreams, I enjoy giving back- and neckmassages to people I like, I learned some stuff about turtles and bats

Maybe you could teach me some juggle tricks? Or share your secret vegan Christmas-Menue recipe with me? Maybe you've got an idea about how to repair the tap of our kitchensink? Share your knowledge about edible plants, birdsongs and rockformations during a walk?
Just tell/teach me whatever you know well. I can't think of a thing which wouldn't be interesting if you get a deeper understanding of it..
