About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Traveling is a passion of mine and I love nothing more than meeting new people along the way, only to be reminded of our interconnection that spans across all cultures. From my travels I have come to learn and appreciate that as a visitor, you get the best taste of the location through the eyes of locals. Although I enjoy marveling at the ancient structures and gazing at the crowds of tourists, I take true joy in exploring the less discovered places, the best tasting foods, and the spots only known through word-of-mouth.
ABOUT ME
I find the small things in life to be the most precious. I recently received the book "Oh, The Places You'll Go! By Dr. Seuss" as a gift, and it couldn't have been more fitting. I am open minded and open to spontaneous adventures. Life is an adventure, and I intend to explore.
These past 2 years I have been studying to receive my M.S. in Natural Resources & Environment with a focus on what motivates people to act in a pro-environmental way. I am also an aspiring slack-liner and hand stand junky. Hoping to surf more!
PHILOSOPHY
Don't wait around for something to begin, just trust in yourself and go for it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently I am working 32 hours a week so on the weekends I aspire to travel and explore new places and faces. Although I can get behind solo-trips, having a couch surfing host while seeing a new city seems a lot cooler!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
While on a road trip up the east coast of Florida, I surfed in Jacksonville. I had a really positive experience with the host and her dog and would definitely visit her again.
Interests
Puppies, smiles, drum circles, outdoors, OH MY!
Real talk, I am interested in learning. Learning from new people, books, magazines, enemies, friends, and expanding my own perceptions of the world to perhaps reach no perceptions at all.

Teach, Learn, Share
I believe that the exchange of teaching and sharing is a wonderful thing. I am a great listener and a quick learner always game to pick up new skills or just sit back and listen to a story.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am great in holding up conversation as I've been told and will gladly ask you interesting questions - I like to really get to know someone with the time I have with them. Through laughter, stories, or sharing a meal. Speaking of meals - I am happy to help cook/ prepare food! Food is life.
