About Me

Hey lovely people!
I'm Selma, 25 years old and love to live new experiences. I also like to eat, speak new langages and discover new part of the world. I'm more an outdoor kind of person, some would say a "granola girl" ? but I also like to spend time in cities.
I loooove sports, especially when they are related to nature like hikes, swims, climbing or kitesurfing and surfing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people, exchange stories and share moments. Discovering a city or a part of the world is always better and funnier with good company :)

Music, Movies, and Books

My tastes in music can sometimes be a bit random. In my playlist you'll find titles from Bossa Nova to Techno, French rap but also salsa.
My favorite artist is Ben Mazue (he is French, please go listen to him), I really like Paul Kalkbrenner :)

I do not really watch movies, I sometimes happen to get addicted to a series like "La Casa de Papel" or "Black Mirror".

I enjoy reading, recently I read books from the amazing Maud Ankaoua, my favorite one was "Km zero". That book pretty much changed my life hahah. I also love Thomas D'Ansambourg and Marshall Rosenberg, who are specialized in non-violent communication. In a nutshell, NVC creates empathy and to promotes cooperative solutions that meet peoples' needs. The word “nonviolent” was inspired by the nonviolent peace activism movement.
I certainly also do like books written by Paulo Coelho, especially the most recent I read: "Hippie".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Had 28th different homes ?

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to teach yoga and meditation. I love to learn new things, it can be new skills; langages or sports, or anything creative really. I truly think that sharing is caring, that a full house is better than an empty one and that meals should be spent with good company.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can show you around, teach you yoga and we can laugh a lot.
I'm pretty relaxed and do not take life too seriously.
