Welcome to Northern Mesopotamia. 📜

Hey... I'm Selman from Izmir but I currently live in Malatya due to work.
I am an asst. professor working on geropsychiatry and ageing.

Everyone has the right to a healthy life !

Don't worry, I don't interfere with anyone's lifestyle and I don't experiment on them. :))

Aside from that, I am a giving, cheerful, helpful, and hospitable boy (as you can see), and I enjoy making new friends and smiling.:))

I've got a green passport like half diplomatic because of my long- year government career, that’s why I am able to enter lots countries in the world without a visa. 🛂

Moreover Traveling all of the world is my dream. I would especially like to be in blue zone cities.
But I have already been in 38 countries. 🌍

Besides, I have 5 doses of vaccine against Covid 💉

When I was a student, I participated in exchange programs in Germany and Slovenia. And four years ago, I traveled to Rotterdam for a project called "Happy Society, Happy Family".

I used Couchsurfing for hosting or meeting more than 13 times and hosted 7 people.
Waiting new people for chatting, hosting, sight-seeing and anyway.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

- My mom insists on me staying at Couchsurfing. I obey her. I'm a good boy. :))
- Connecting with a person instead of a hostel—because the best part of traveling is the people you meet!
- And of course expanding my network and making new friends. I'd love to host them too.
- I'm still actively in touch with my Couchsurfing friends. I've been for almost 15 years.

Fourth in Budapest with my mum :)

My greatest passion is traveling. Discovering new places, exploring different cultures, and experiencing a unique story with every step. Swimming, for me, is the embodiment of freedom. Refreshing my body and renewing my spirit in the cool embrace of the water. 💫
