About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel the world and experience all life has to offer.

ABOUT ME

Salmon sashimi makes me happy. So does the song golden brown by the Stanglers, traveling, the movie Amelie, a glass of Riesling (okay a few glasses - alright, alright a bottle), midgets, wind through treetops, water in motion, driving aimlessly, meeting new people, learning new things, freshly cracked pepper, amphibious smiles, the smell of grass, my blue robe, the perfect bite and too many more things to list.

PHILOSOPHY

i try to live in the moment of each and every breath i take...that is not always easy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to be much more involved in meeting people from here both by hosting/surfing. I am going to start to be more active again so will update this sometime soon with "go to meetings" and "post in groups" etc...

Music, Movies, and Books

Tom Robbins and Gabriel Garcia Marquez are my favorite fiction authors and i will read non-fiction on just about anything of interest. I can get down with most music, but especially hip-hop, jazz, funk, lounge, soul, blues, reggae, rap, and dancehall. I will listen to anything made with talent and intelligence or anything danceable. I watch a plethora of movies. My some of my favorites are Water, Micmacs, and Raise the Red Lantern.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Woke up this morning...just the fact that i am alive amazes me everyday.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am an excellent cook, a pretty good conversationalist, and an above average entertainer. I have been on couchsurfing ten years and I truly understand the code of exchange and respect. If we meet/host/guest I promise it will be a positive experience.
