ABOUT ME

I am somewhat shy at first until I get to know the person better. I love to laugh and make the people around me happy. I love nature, camping, hiking, and the ocean. I like going to poetry slams, museums and learning about other cultures. Once you are my friend I will do everything in my power to see that you are in a good mood and are enjoying life. I am Native American and very involved with my culture. I love going to pow-wows and other ceromonies. I consider myself a very spiritual and in touch with nature. I believe in treating our mother earth with respect.

PHILOSOPHY

There is so much in life to enjoy and we have to look at every day that we have on this earth as a miracle.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: I like murder mystery and romance novels. I also think enjoy Amy Tan's books. I appreciate any book that can make me feel transported. I love trashy tabloid mags, that air all the dirty laundry of the stars. I also enjoy short stories. Where White Men Fear to Tread by Russell Means is one of my favorites {biography/historical non-fiction).

Movies: I like all kinds of movies except horror because they give me nightmares. One movie I really enjoyed was Crash because it had a lot of hidden messages in it. It really made me think about the way the world is. I also like action movies and thrillers (edge-of-your-seat movies). I love comedies. I am also into foreing films especially Bollywood musicals and British comedies. Dances with Wolves. Reno 911 the movie. Dumb and Dumber. Hot Shots. Like Water for Chocolate. Sideways. Bend It Like Beckham. My Cousin Vinny. Wedding Crashers. Between Your Legs. The Graduate.

Music: I listen to all kinds of music from hip-hop to bluegrass. I also enjoy native American cedar flute music. I like music that touches my heart, with meaningful words. I am a big Prince fan. I like the Fugees, Indigenous, Marvin Gaye, Otis Redding, the Eagles, Bach, Mozart, The Mankillers, Muddy Waters and many others.
