Hi there, I am Halil (or Ali if it is easier for you). Well, I grew up in Sinop (a small city in Turkey which has been selected to be the happiest city in Turkey couple of years in a row) and spent 11 years in Istanbul where I did my graduate studies. During my doctoral studies, I had the chance to live in other countries and learn about different cultures which changed me as a person. After this transformation it was not possible to continue living in Turkey and I moved to Bordeaux where I live since 2 years. A friend suggested the website and I am looking forward to meet with new people.

Because I like sharing (moments, power, love, ...). That's also the reason why I live with 4 others. Also, I don't like traveling as a tourist, I want to dive into the culture, meet local people, eat non-touristic food, explore the city as a local.
