Overview
About Me
After finishing school and diving straight into university, I graduated at 21 as a civil engineer. I began working in the field while simultaneously launching a media company that took off better than I expected. Juggling both careers was an intense but rewarding time in my life and as 2024 approached, I reflected on my journey so far. I realised I had achieved so much, except one major thing...travel. Corporate life wasn’t my calling, so I made a bold decision: quit my job, pack my bags, and travel the world while pursuing my passion for content creation on the go.
My goal for 2024? It’s not about chasing money but chasing freedom and collecting stories that's worth telling and say "yes" to most things. Seek that discomfort! Since February, I’ve been on the road and loving every bit of it, exploring countries like Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Japan, Guam, Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, and, of course, spending time in my homeland, New Zealand.
I’m an open-minded adventurer who thrives on spontaneity and taking risks. My life motto? If someone’s going to do it, it might as well be me. I’m here to create memories, share stories, and live a life worth telling.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The best way to truly experience a place is through the people who live there. I’m not just looking for a place to crash, I want to meet locals, get to know their daily lives, and get a better understanding of each city I visit. For me, it is the connection and stories I make with the people along the way make the destination memorable.
I’ve always believed that strangers are simply friends we haven’t met yet. Whether it’s sharing funny stories over a meal, learning local traditions, or exploring local known spots, I want to experience the authentic side of each place I visit.
And of course, traveling on a tight budget.. couchsurfing helps us travellers save a little coin along the way as well. :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Dedicating years to becoming a civil engineer and deciding to quit to follow my dream of traveling and content creation wasn’t an easy choice, but it was the right one. I’m proud to say I have absolutely no regrets and taking that leap into the unknown and carving my own path has been the most blessing experience of my life, and the fact that I did it on my own makes it even more rewarding.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can show you how to take photos and edit them like a pro, so your Instagram is full of bangers.
Learn: I need to learn how to swim....yes, I’m 26 and still can’t swim, even after traveling through some of the most beach filled countries. So if you’ve got water wings and patience, I’m your guy! 😂
Share: I’ll gladly share stories, food, drinks, and basically whatever else life throws my way. This year, I’ve committed to saying “yes” to most things I come across, so expect some spontaneous adventures!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my love for adventure and creativity through photography and videography. If you’re into content creation, I’d be more than happy to snap some photos or help you create some cool visuals. I’ll also share stories from my travels... trust me, I’ve got a few interesting and questionable ones. Beyond that, I’m all about sharing meals, drinks, and good vibes (I am known to be a yapper). Whether it’s cooking together or exploring the city, I’m up for anything and always down to create some great memories fam!
