About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm motivated to maximize what can be lived out of life! I love traveling, and I love doing things in unorthodox ways. If you have an adventure in mind, I will probably be up for it.
ABOUT ME
I'm currently wwoofing in Germany at an organic sheep farm (ask me about it, I love the sheep!), and am maximizing my enjoyment of Europe.
I'm a mix of spontaneous and organized. I get my kicks out of finding the most interesting way to do something, whether it's getting to that cool landmark by taking a couple of out of the way bus routes, or creating a new version of tuna and macaroni casserole. Fun and laughing and silliness are essential.
I want to know you are connected to your home and your people, and then how I am connected to you. I like to know the details about something that make all the difference. I like to plan adventures and break convention. I like pooling resources and people to make things happen.
I am ethnically Chinese, but have lived in Canada most of my life. Now I live in Germany, and who knows what the future will bring? I love talking about cultural identity, and in mixing up my languages from time to time =)
PHILOSOPHY
Everyone must make their own path in life, but we are here to help each other along!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
People are what make the world worthwhile and fascinating! When we share ourselves, we share everything that has made us who we are. Making good connections opens doors of opportunity for personal growth, and future developments.
Interests
Just saying 'traveling' is a bit banal, so instead I'll say finding the perfect spot on the corner to eat that thing that can only be found in that specific part of the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I backpacked alone through India for six months in 2012. I smelled the acrid air around Agra on the way to the Taj Mahal, watched Octopussy on rooftops in Udaipur where it was filmed, was accosted and fought off aggressive cab drivers in Jaipur who insisted on my patronage. I ate dosas with putu every morning for weeks in South India, and drank teashops dry of chai. I saw the Dalai Lama in the home of the Tibetan government in exile, and sat a 10 day silent meditation retreat in the foothills of the Himalayas while monkeys bounced off the roofs. I was drenched with endless puffs of color in the family home of a friend during Holi, and spent night under a rocky overhang on the top of a mountain.
And then Myanmar...
