Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Few years ago, my friend recommended me that I could use this website and ask some people to accept me while I'd been travelling, and I tried. I travelled across the whole united states, and stayed in hosts' houses.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was in the United States, I made an overland trip across the U.S.A from LA to New York by Grey hound bus. At that time, fortunately, I could stay in many wonderful hosts' houses. It was so great. Not going to forget their hospitatlity. Since they were really nice and caring to me, I decided to open my house for travellers.
I want to make a great relation with people in all over the world and experience a lot of things which can develop quality of my life.

During my travelling, I visited Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Denver, St.Louis, Chicago, Toronto, Niagara Falls, Boston, and New York. In everywhere I visited, I stayed in host's houses and after came back to LA, I hosted people. I live in Seoul, Korea now. I still meet up some people through Couchsurfing.
If you come to my place, I'm willing to treat Korean food and drinks.! It's my great pleasure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. South America Trip for 40 days.
Traveled
Peru ( Lima, Ika , Nasca, Cusco)
Bolivia (Copacabana, Uyuni )
Chile ( Atakama, Santiago, Punta Arenas, Puerto Natales, Tores Del Paine)
Argentina (El Calafate, Ushuaia, Buenos Aires, Las cataratas del Iguazu )
Brazil ( Foz do Iguacu , Rio De Janeiro )
via Russia (Moscow)
It beyonds amazing.!!! Can't describe in language.

After I started working in IT company, I've always dreamed of travelling all around world.
But the problem is , in reality, it's not easy to quit my job for travelling. Korea is like going crazy. Very difficult to get a job. I know it's not couchsurfing spirit though.
I made a decision to take time off from work, and traveled South America for 40 days.
Actually it was all of a sudden, but as a result, I'm not going to forget the memory I've got during S.America trip.

2. Crossing the United states and Canada
As I mentioned on 'Why i'm on CS', I travelled across the United states and some part of Canada by buses. It took around 30days and total distance is more than 5500km approximately.
I used to use Couch Surfing and I can strongly say It changed my life and still changing my life.

3. Riding a bicycle
I traveled all around Korea when I was a college student by bicycle for 5 nights and 6days.
It's totally more than 400km. At that time, there was typhoon in Korea, so my friends and I were riding a bicycle while we were getting caught in a heavy rainstorm; however, we made it, and it is an unforgettable memory.
