ABOUT ME

Hi everybody, perhaps the most important thing about me: I am obsessed with music. You can easily see so by reading my "Interests" column. Apart from that, I like to read good books and see good films (my definition of the two is given below).
When I go abroad, I always like to get to know new people and make new friends. The easiest way is presumably a hostel and, of course, couch surfing.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I am pratically abroad, because I moved out of my shared flat in Freiburg to go on a five-months-stay in Southampton, England. I will study one semester at the University of Southampton as part of the Erasmus exchange programme. After that, I am going back to Freiburg in Feb/Mar 2012.
I am looking for somewhere to stay (two or three days) to search for a place to live for the next five months.

Centres d'intérêt

I play classical guitar and piano, but more than that I like to listen to music. Especially alternative or indie Rock and the classic or progressive Rock of the Seventies (like Beatles, Pink Floyd, Mike Oldfield, etc). Apart from that I appreciate Soundtracks and a wide range of Classical Music from Renaissance to Modernity. That is why I study Musicology, which is Music history and analysis. The only platform where I perform regularly is with one of my choirs, singing a variety of classical and a Capella repertoire.
