About Me

Hey there! I’m Serafima, a 28-year-old explorer with a big love for adventure and learning 🥰 Over the past 10 years, I’ve traveled across Europe and Brazil, soaking in different cultures and stunning landscapes. While I’m slowly starting to feel ready to settle down, I’d still love to dedicate the next 1–3 years to exploring the world — so feel free to join me 🌎

At the moment, I work as an online German teacher, and I really enjoy sharing the language with students from all kinds of backgrounds.

I have a strong passion for the outdoors — hiking, climbing, and camping in the middle of nowhere are some of my favorite ways to recharge. I’m always up for a bit of adrenaline, but I also deeply appreciate slower moments: cozy evenings by the fire, board games, a good book, or meaningful conversations.

I also enjoy surfing, kitesurfing, and diving, even though it’s been a while since I practiced them regularly. Dancing is another passion of mine — I currently enjoy forró and would love to continue my tango lessons someday.

Although I’m an introvert at heart, I do like stepping out of my comfort zone from time to time) Meeting new people and building genuine connections is something I truly value.

So if you’re looking for an open-minded, adventurous travel companion, I might be a great match 🙂

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I believe in the power of human connection and cultural exchange.
While I may not have a physical home to offer yet, I'm here to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere to fellow travelers. I want to create a sense of "home away from home" for those passing through my life's journey, making them feel comfortable and valued during their stay.

In essence, I'm on Couchsurfing to foster connections, build friendships, and create lasting memories with like-minded individuals who share my love for adventure and exploration)

Interests

In the past three years, I've discovered a newfound love for reading – a hobby I once avoided. My interests primarily lie in psychology, the art of listening, entrepreneurship, traveling, dancing, cooking, jogging, yoga .. you name it

Climbing, though not pursued professionally, is an activity that brings immense joy and fitness into my life. It's not just about the physical challenge; it's also the amazing community of climbers I meet along the way that truly enriches the experience.

Hiking is my sanctuary that brings peace and resets my mind. For me, the tranquility of being in nature is unmatched. Camping is an essential part of it)

Lastly, learning new languages is a pursuit that keeps my mind agile and youthful. It's not just about acquiring a skill; it's about unlocking doors to new cultures, experiences, and connections.

And shortly, music = one love
