About Me

Hi! I'm a very laid-back man, with a tranquil personality. Nevertheless, I know exactly how to stand up for myself and those I care for. Also, I am a very curious person: for these reasons, I love traveling and confronting myself with new places and life conditions.
I do appreciate spontaneity a lot. Some of my best experiences were not planned at all, and I'm the kind of person you can always rely on to organize a last-minute adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because I love traveling! But not only that, I like to meet and know new people, understand their cultures, and try to learn a bit of their languages too sometimes. I love to fill up my life with different views of reality that only traveling and meeting people can give me. I'm here because, when I visit a place, I try to be a traveler, not a tourist: so I like to meet the locals, and see what they do and how they have fun in their countries. Also, I like to help people that come to my city, being welcoming to the newcomers!

Interests

I love music, of all sorts and kinds; it's one of the things that makes life worth living. I also like almost every kind of artistic expression, but mainly paintings and literature; the important thing is for it to tease my curiosity.
I love nature, shores and seas, woods and mountains, swimming, walking and hunting. I also love the cities, the bigger the better, with the charms, entertainments and refinement they can offer. I like good food and good wine, drinking with friends, and having fun with them aftermath.
If you have a good sense of humor, I will like you too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year in October I bought a visa and a ticket for Australia; the very next month I was moving there, without knowing anyone down under. I lived there for one year, and that has been an amazing experience for me. Now I have lots of friends in Australia (and other countries); some of them are really good ones whom I miss.
Nevertheless, I hope that traveling will give more amazing experiences, and that is the most important thing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn from others! From their life experiences and histories. I also love foreign languages, and always try to learn new ones. At the moment, I'm working on trying to learn Dutch and Spanish. I have a good command of Italian and English languages. If you speak any of the languages I'm interested in, and feel that I could help you with those I know, just drop me a message. Maybe we can help each other to fulfill our goals.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can't offer any sort of accommodation right now, but I'm working on it. Anyway, if you happen to be in Trieste, and you don't know anyone, drop me a message and I'll get in touch with you.
