I've spent more than 15 years in political and nonprofit advocacy and am dedicated to public policy and grassroots community organizing. I'm also a mom, a baritone ukulele-list, and a lover of books.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I joined Couchsurfing a couple years back when my business/podcast partner and I were traveling the country as part of our storytelling podcast, the Humanist Experience. We loved meeting new people and having new experiences in the places we traveled, and now I'm hooked on the experience. I by far prefer staying with local hosts to the isolating experience of a hotel room.

My life partner and I own a beautiful home near Wekiwa Springs State Park in Longwood, Florida. Easy access to paddleboarding, hiking, and manatees! We have lots of outdoor space in our backyard, a lovely pool, a guestroom, and we are kid-, dog-, and 420- friendly.
