About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To visit every country. I got a bit of a late start.

ABOUT ME

I'm typically quiet and mostly reserved by nature. When I’m comfortable and with friends I’m less so, but always an introvert and need quite a bit of quiet alone time. I love yoga, meditation, painting, jewelry making and traveling! I’m a big fan of cats and love all other animals too! I love seeing new cultures and trying new foods. I’ve attended Burning Man the last 5 years, I can not wait to return next year!

PHILOSOPHY
Leave people and places better than you found them.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading personal travel stories, kooky fiction and something to inspire. I have a huge Goodreads list.

I don't watch many movies and no TV. When I do watch movies I like to read the books first, if available.

Lately I've been enamored with Ba Cissoko, Jarabe de Pablo, Tryo, Santigold, Lykke Li, Lana Del Rey, Manu Chau, Bob and Damian Marley, Calle 13, . And a life long Beatles fan. I get stuck in ruts so I'm open to hear new things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stepped on the head of a Fer-de-Lance and lived to tell about it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning the local ways and living amongst the natives whenever possible. I love to try new food! A huge fan of street vendors. I enjoy helping others learn English and have my TEFL certificate. I am struggling to learn Spanish.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A smile, a laugh and a calm spirit. Gratitude. Help with your English if you want it.
