ABOUT ME

I'm a fun and energetic young adult who's enjoying his time directing and teaching in Israel. I want to continue my journeys post this fellowship and continue to teach and direct while changing the world through community service.

PHILOSOPHY

Love, and be loved in return. There is so much to discover on this planet, why not simply spread love everywhere you travel, and not in a romantic sense, but in a fellow human being sense. I'm a spiritual american jew who enjoys learning and growing from others, and gaining as many experiences as possible to grow on my own journey.

None thus far, but looking to creating memories this coming summer when I return from Israel.

Interests

I love theatre and it's a major aspect of my life, from performing, to directing, to teaching, it's one of the main cores of who I am. I'm athletic and enjoy jogging, rollerblading, hiking, biking, and water sports, such as jet skiing, snorkeling, scuba diving, paragliding and anything adventurous. I love meeting new people and learning about their journeys and stories they have to offer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I grew up into a mature, caring, compassionate and respectable young adult, one that his parents would be proud of.
I've lived, directed and taught English in Israel for a year.
I've preformed on broadway.
I've directed five productions, including one musical.
I've travled to Paris, London, Canada, and explored about 15 states other than mown (I'm looking forward to exploring all 50 states by some point).

Teach, Learn, Share

My undergrad focus was in theatre arts and I'm currently in the process of waiting for graduate programs responses. I've been involved in theatre for the past fifteen years and have experience and knowledge to share for those looking to listen. I've been in the transition from performer to director for the last two and a half years, and love directing immensely.

I'm looking to learn about different cultures, ways of life, perspectives, and different practices of educational structures. As a new teacher, I am looking to learn about the various ways of teaching from not only around the states, but from around the world. I would love to take different strategies and methods of teaching and continue to challenge the current educational wheel within the states and mold myself into a stronger more resourceful instructor over the years. I also love art, music, dance, the impressive art of cooking, history, animals, and am willing to expand my knowledge on all of the above and much more!
