I love traveling, both as source of new experiences and just simple relaxation, and meeting new people. I can't live without sun and open water, so I often try to visit places that are warm and near the ocean or sea. More often than not, I am solo traveler - experiencing new places and things on my own pace.

Interests

I love to try new things and experiences - local and worldwide, expecially food :) so I don't shy away from even the most exotic local cuisine, as my homeland's native dishes are also pretty far out there for foreigners. Also, I am a avid movie-nut, so few of my travels are film related, be it pilgrimages to famous movie sites, or just geek conventions.

I'd like to think of myself as humble traveler - usually I just need a place to stay for a night, with quick access to public transport lines.

I don't smoke, drink casually, speak fluent English, Latvian and Russian languages.
