Overview
About Me
I am a Ukrainian born American citizen. I currently study medicine, with several years before becoming a doctor. I try to make time to travel, as this will be something I have less and less time for moving forward.
I enjoy having random adventures and having deep conversations with people I meet while traveling. I think I have made some of the coolest connections with people while at the top of a mountain or along long biking paths. Along these journeys, I get to meet people at their best, living life simply and freely.
I especially love getting to meet different cultures and sharing unique experiences with people different than me. If we can just set borders and politics aside, people are really unique and really cool. Honestly, people are the most interesting thing on this planet. I look for moments where I can share just small pieces of what makes us unique, whether its a food, or simply how to say "Hello" in a different language.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Like I mentioned, I travel to meet people. I want to see places from the viewpoint of a local, and avoid tourist traps. I would be super glad to have someone to explore new cities with, or show me around if you're from around town.

Music, Movies, and Books
Red Hot Chili Peppers, Guns&Roses, Andrea Bocelli (I know its a really weird mix, but I love their voices)
Big fan of Marvel, especially the TV show Loki, I think he is my favorite character now, I highly recommend watching.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I traveled to my home country Ukraine during the war with Russia to volunteer as a medic to help refugees and hospitals. I worked with people from literally every country in the world, to bring medicine and humanitarian aid to Ukrainian hospitals and families. I stayed for 4 months from March to June, when I had to go back to the USA to resume my education. I hope to return to Ukraine in the summer.
I always say, this is the coolest thing I have done with my life, and although it was at times dangerous, I am very glad I was able to help my homeland like this. I have so many stories to tell from these four months I could talk forever.
