Hi, my name is Sergio and I am 28 yo. I will be studying at UU a master degree of Sustainable Development this 1st of September. I am a person that enjoys and love hear music and play music, nature, lots of cultural s***, travel, surfing and martial arts. I am extroverted being with 'quiet periods' of time, as we all need our space. I am also a massage physical therapist.

I am from Mexico, from Chihuahua and I am a mixture of races of america. I studied a B.Sc. in Biotech. Graduated in 2012 I am looking for new knowledge and experiences in life at Utrecht, and of course meet new friends. I have lived in The Havana for two years, Oulu Finland for 7 months, Lethbridge Canada for 7 months and of course Mexico my home country, that's a fun fact of me.

I am here at couchsurfing because I am looking for a flat/room/studio where I can call it HOME!

Home for me is a place where read, cook, shower, sleep and have nice conversations and time with people are activities done with pleasure and joy. As I will begin my master degree at September I am looking forward to find a space where we can meet us.

Interesses

I am very deep into music, I just love hear and learn music, I play guitar, some bass guitar, some viola and singing, but not professionally; nature and landscapes, cultural activities, sports, therapy (massages) and relax are my hobbies when I am not into environmental activities and thoughts of my career.

That's a lot to talk but nowadays I am hearing a lot of:
Wynton Marsalis, Ibrahim Maalouf, Dream Theater, Gary Clark Jr., to say a few names but hearing jazz, progressive rock, indie, folk, reggae and many many music.

Octavio Paz, Carl Sagan are some of my preferred authors. Blows my mind. I enjoy paintings specially from Van Gogh, Kadinsky, Salvador Dali & Remedios Varo.
