About Me

Hi! My name is Sergio Villegas and I’m 28. I’m from the beautiful state of California in the USA. Born right off the coast. I think it’s why I love the ocean so much. I come from a big family of 8 and I feel extremely lucky. I love them all, especially my parents. They’ve done a lot for me. I’m currently a Kinesiology (study of human movement) student at my hometown university. I’ll be graduating next year with a bachelor's degree!! I’m really excited because I’m going to make history in my family. I’ll be the first to get a higher education.

My career goal is to build retirement homes in and out of my country and use my degree in human movement to create exercise programs for the elderly. I want them to live happily ever after and I know I can make it happen. I already have many ideas and a sketched-out map of how I may get there. In the meantime, I’m working for Apple. One of the best jobs I’ve had. And let me tell you, I’ve had way too many. The reason behind that is that I love to learn and grow and I can’t do that if I stay in one spot for long. When I'm not working or going to school, I enjoy keeping myself active. Whether it’s a run, a hike, or playing sports, I am all for it. But also, I’m a big reader. I love to read, watch movies (especially documentaries), and do songwriting to name a few of the many things I enjoy.

Growing up I had always been fascinated with the world. The idea of being on a floating rock still blows my mind and so it’s my goal to get to know this little rock and all the people on it because we’re only here once! We have to take these opportunities now before it’s too late. Another thing about me is I am hungry to grow and learn from this community. I want to know you, learn from you, grow from you, hear your stories, see your favorite places and make new memories. I have grown so much through here and am so grateful for everyone who’s hosted me. Shoutouts to Andrea. She taught me something I was weak in and am ready to try again! Thank you everyone!!
