Host travelers in my city!! - If you come from FRANCE or URUGUAY, and you have space for bringing a book, please let me know. It is pretty difficult for me to get books I need for my translations... I would pay you for it right away. :)
I think it's difficult to talk about oneself, but I suppose I can say I'm an easy going person, I love any kind of music and I really enjoy showing my city.
I speak some english and french and I would like to practice some (but it's ok if you want to learn spanish from me). I'm also a spanish teacher for beginners.
I studied Literature but I work as an historian; my subject: student movements from the 20's (Really specific! Jeje...).
I'd love to travel all over the world but right now I'm
just saving money to do it.
As a host: make sure the surfers feel confortables and make sure they really know Bogotá!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love to show my town so people can say they really went to Bogotá. I can host two people top at a time. Eventually I'd love to visite some places, but now I'm saving some money.
I've hosted some people and I always make tours in my city (I love that!).
Through Couchsurfing, I've showed the city once to Tom (from England) and Michal (from U.S.), and I've hosted Ashley (from U.S.).
It has been really really nice to know them!
Writing, travelling and meeting new people.
Practicing some english and french.
Music, Movies, and Books
But I have to say I love Roberto Bolaño ("The savage detectives"), Sofia Coppola ("Lost in translation") and any kind of music. Simple: "Without music, life would be a mistake" and "I wouldn't believe in a god that doesn't dance" (Nietzsche).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling through Latin America!
Meeting people from different places and languages!
Teach, Learn, Share
If you want to learn some, I'm a spanish teacher for beginners.
