Sobre mí

I might be a bit introvert at first, but I just need a little time to show the most outgoing part of me. I find myself quite funny if I'm allowed to say so. I enjoy simple things in life: a good film, reading, having a coffe with some friends and, of course, travelling around.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

And that si why I am here. I love travelling, especially with my friends, so this is an easy way to get to know different places and cultures and people from everywhere.

Intereses

I love music (been singing for years, though I don't think I'm good at that), cinema, literature and arts. They are really important parts of my daily life. Cooking is one of my fave hobbies too.

Música, películas y libros

I listen to some Spanish bands, such as Vestusta Morla, Niños Mutantes, Izal and so on, and to some others, like Family of the year, AnnenMayKantereit, Two Door Cinema Club, Postmodern Jukebox... a bit of a mix within the indie pop/rock scene.

If I had to choose my favourite film, I'd have no idea about what to say. I like Woody Allen's films (not so much as I used to like him, but it's not bad), especially Hannah and her Sisters and Midnight in Paris, as well as Tim Burton's. I like LGBT movies (Weekend, The Danish Girl, Lilting, Kinky Boots...).

Also lots of series: In the Flesh, Sherlock Holmes, Utopia (best one ever), Black Mirror, Mr Robot, The Crown, Penny Dreadful...

Now books. I've read everything that Laura Gallego had written until I was like 16. I've translated some pieces of Virginia Woolf and James Joyce for academic purposes, so I've read a wide range of their stories, and some of Edgar Allan Poe too. I love Oscar Wilde's plays and The picture of Dorian Gray. I have read most of Spanish classic writers (Lorca, Machado, Unamuno, Lope...) among others.

Also some German novelists, but all these are long boring lists, so why don't we meet and talk about them all evening long? :)

Algo increíble que he hecho

Hmm... I don't know. I survived the Erasmus life in Cologne! This is quite a hard question to answer... need to think about it.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

What could I teach to someone? Some experiences, some knowledge I guess, Spanish cuisine... And I could learn that same thing: knowledge, languages, etc. Cultural diversity is one of the greatest things that we have nowadays.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

Funny stories. It is so difficult and fun to share a moment in English lived in Spanish. You need to think twice every single thing that happened and sometimes the joke is not funny at all, buuuut that's the point of cultual diffences :)
