About Me

ABOUT ME

Easy going, open, adventure thirsty, fun-seeking, routine-averse, conscience exploring, ultra curious soul.

PHILOSOPHY

"I arise in the morning torn between a desire to improve the world and a desire to enjoy the world. This makes it hard to plan the day."
-E.B. White

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've mostly hosted lately, but I'd like to try surfing again more. I join events from time to time and try to meet-up with other surfers to hang out or to travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed around Europe for a bit (early days) - hosted in the Caribbean, Central, North and South America. I've done some travelling and camping with other surfers as well.

Interests

I enjoy a bit of everything. I love spending time immersed in nature, love to travel, meet new people and stay in touch with or visit those I've met. I'm a food addict, all kinds. I like reading, going to the beach, photography, deep conversation, laughing, working, scuba diving, surfing, mountain biking, video games, running, movies, skiing/SB and music. I like moving around from place to place and experiencing new things: Scenery, cities, languages, ideologies, FOOD/drinks, cultures, religious/traditional/philosophical rituals/ideas.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Killers, Molotov, Muse, Nirvana, The Beatles, Arctic Monkeys.
Cloud Atlas, Cruel Intentions, all Wes Anderson films, Old School, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Shutter Island, The Matrix, Akira, Paprika, Waking Life.
Stephen King, Ayn Rand, ASOIAF, The Alchemist, LOTR, The Iliad

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I ran with the bulls in Pamplona, drove from Mexico to Canada and back, dove into a sunken submarine in the Caribbean, was deported (at gunpoint) from Macedonia, ate rat and scorpions in China, impersonated a wine taster in Athens, swam in a warm volcanic crater in Nicaragua and a freezing one in Ecuador, snowboarded the Rockies and the Alps, and jumped off a plane in a desert.

Teach, Learn, Share

Happy to teach you to make salsa (food)! I love learning about other cultures and different lifestyles. Into yoga, meditation and contemplation. Love sharing stories, food, wine and laughs.
