ABOUT ME

About me...mmmmm...
I am from Australia and have spent most of my life living here but moved to America in 2001 for seven years. In 2008 I embarked on a open ended journey and have been globe trotting anywhere and everywhere since.

What else???
I am a significant animal lover and wish I owned a massive farm so I could rescue all the beautiful stray dogs that roam the streets of Dahab, Egypt. Especially the mentally retarded one that lives on Claudia’s door step...

I’m an avid traveler, I doubt if I’ll ever stop traveling. And with my veterinary nurse skills I hope to continue to care for all animals in need of medical attention the globe over.

Learn to live a vegan lifestyle and always remember to enjoy life to the fullest :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been part of couch surfing since 2008 and during that time have hosted on several occasions and have been a surfer throughout my trips to New Zealand and travels throughout Australia.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Paragliding over the Swiss Alps.
- Hiking up Mt Sinai at 3am to see sun rise over the mountain peaks of Egypt.
- Scuba diving in the Red Sea, Egypt.
- Ocean kayaking in Maui.
- Letting the pigeons trample me alive in Piazza San Marco, Venice Italy.
- Sky diving over Lake Taupo, New Zealand.
- Having driving lessons on a scooter...in India
- Climbing for 6.5 hours through the night to reach the top of Volcano Baru at 11,500 feet and then having to turn around and do it all again in reverse, Panama.
- Managing a Small Animal Rescue Sanctuary and caring for all kinds of animals in Chiang Mai, Thailand
- Surfing the great Sand Dunes of Mun Noi, Vietnam
- Clutching on for dear life on the roller coaster of a truck ride up the mountain to visit The Golden Rock, Myanmar
- High altitude seven day motor bike trip from Manali to Leh, India
- Living the ‘burner lifestyle’ during the Burning Man Festival, USA
- Climbing to 5,500m altitude for cloudy vistas of Ecuador’s highest volcano
