Hi!
My name is Serwa (Shirin in Iran), I am originally from Iran, Kurdish from the city of Kermanshah. I grew up in a refugee camp in Ramadi, Iraq during the Iran-Iraq war, but moved to Sweden at the age of 2.
I have lived here since then, and I also studied and lived in Xi'an, China for 4 months. I love traveling, and since I am fluent in 5 languages- I am studying to be a teacher in English and Spanish (I also work part-time as a teacher).

I'm on Couchsurfing mainly to make new friends when I am out traveling but also looking for hosts for future travels.

I listen to basically everything, from Persian music, Russian rap, Kurdish folklore, Spanish bachata/reggeaton/merengue/salsa/cumbia to Swedish rap, hiphop in general, big Kid Cudi and Enrique Iglesias fan!!

My favourite books are written by Paulo Coelho and Khaled Hosseini! :)

My all time favorite movie is Amelie from Montmartre.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ehmm.. Well the coolest thing I've done is living in China by myself, without speaking a word of their language, it was a fun experience but the fog almost killed me. Hehe.
I like visiting places that aren't "mainstream", in January 2017 I went to Lebanon and visited Beirut, Jbeil, Jounieh, Tripoli, Batron etc.
But my dream is to roadtrip in Iran and also across central/southamerica...

I can teach you Zumba, hahaha, jokes aside I am pretty talkative and if I may brag, I am pretty fun to hang out with!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hopefully I can meet up and show you around the small town I live in, which is Karlstad, Sweden basically.. if you've never heard of it, it's because it's really small. It is close to the border of Norway and really cold (surprise!)
