In a nutshell- I like to laugh...a lot! I love the simple things in life. I'm down to earth, an extroverted hermit among other oxymorons, goofy, friendly, a natural born leader, considerate, a good listener, and can't tell jokes, but will attempt.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met some Australians in a national jamboree in Houston and only got to know them for a couple of minutes. Three months later I decided to visit Australia for a month and they were happy to have my friend and I in their homes. We also surfed 4 of their friends' couches and never had a better time. It was the most memorable experience of my life.

Interests

I love camping (it's such a different mentality when you are roughing it), orienteering, nature, taking road trips, traveling, cultures, sight-seeing, meeting new people, learning, dancing, maintaining traditions, observing people's behaviors, hanging out with the boys, having a girl's night out, dancing, reading, arts and crafts, camp/bon fires, theme parties, reminiscing, eating, frolicking, and riding old school bikes.

Books-Tuesdays with Morrie, The Diary of Anne Frank, The Kite Runner, Da Vinci Code, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sleeping and camping under the stars in the wilderness.
Climbing both the Petite and Gros Piton mountains in St. Lucia.

The thing that touches my soul in the most profound way are the small, random, acts of kindness from strangers.
