Rediscovering my own country after six years abroad!

ABOUT ME

I am just back from six years abroad. I was recently living in a small village in the South-West of England and have just gone back to the Paris area where I grew up. I went from wellies to high heels, from country walks to train commutes, and from greeting sheeps to mingling with Paris high society (or something like that!) :-)
I think I am friendly and open-minded, quite easy-going (at least for a few days !) I enjoy meeting people, of course, but like doing things on my own as well. I can enjoy a quiet, peaceful life in beautiful surroundings, but also am a city girl who needs her fix of crowd, activity and museums from time to time. Basically, I adapt quite easily to my circumstances and am curious about lots of things. A bit of a dreamer for sure, lost in her own little world sometimes, but always happy to explore new horizons. As long there are interesting experiences and people on the way, I don't think you really need to figure it all out...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host, I surf, I go to couchsurfings gatherings... Sometimes I am quite active, sometimes less...
I love the variety of people I met and am looking forward to more.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have always been more than lucky with the people I have hosted and met. I guess an ideal stay, whether as a guest or a host, involves spending time with the other whilst having some free time. I am quite independant but really enjoy spending time chatting with my guest / host and getting to know their world.

Centres d'intérêt

I wish I could live a hundred lives... Actual, parallel lives where I could be different people in turns...
As for the good old self I am stuck with, it enjoys rather simple pleasures: reading, swimming, being outdoors, cooking, eating, getting lost in a new city, being with lovely people, exchanging ideas, discovering new things... too much to say...
