兴趣

The ocean. I love surfing, sailing, outrigger canoe paddling, kayaking, scuba diving, you name it. I like to camp and hike. At the same time I'm extremely nerdy and love hacking electronics, coding, etc. I'm an amateur radio operator (a Ham for the savvy). This list wouldn't be complete without music. I play guitar and ukulele and would play every instrument if I could.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The most beautiful place I've been is Kalalau beach on the Na Pali coast of Kauai. It was a two day hike in, and we packed far more than we should have. When we finally emerged from the rainforest, I was rendered breathless by the sharp cliffs outlining an expansive beach. To my immediate left was a 50ft waterfall pouring directly on to the beach. A ways down the beach I could discern a wide and tall cave which I would later discover was filled with rock stacks and even deeper, a cool, still pool that I was too chicken to explore into the darkness of the cavity.
