ABOUT ME

as far as summing myself up i'd say i'm fun loving and wild sometimes but still capable of being responsible and serious about things that are important to me. i always have a good time goofing around but, real honest conversation is something i enjoy just as much. i love talking to people. especially the kind of people who have intelligent thought provoking things to say. i consider happiness the most honorable pursuit in life.

i host when i can, but i am currently very busy. always available to help explore the city and point folks in the direction of fun though!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i go to a ton of live music and there are always people from out of town coming around for good shows i let them crash whenever and if i happen to be in their town for a show they let me crash!

Interests

i go to lots of live music, i make lots of art, i cook lots of good food, i invent lots of gluten free baking recipes, i spend days i have off with a six pack and a sketch book at the river, and i do graphic design and printing for bands on the side of my job and school.

Music, Movies, and Books

my favorite authors are ralph waldo emerson, ayn rand, kurt vonnegut, and numerous others.
indie films are always fun. i like the quirky, awkward comedy that is typically embedded in them. i enjoy the hollywood stuff just as much. i think one of my favorite movies ever is pirates of the caribbean, which you never wanna watch with me because i know every line by heart and will recite them with the movie.
i watch the mentalist and dexter avidly.
i really love to support local music and the majority of my friends are in bands. i listen to a good mix of genres not "everything" though. i like things from classic punk, like the decedents and dead kennedys, to eighties pop, like madonna, to ska, like reel big fish and streetlight manifesto, to pop punk like new found glory, to folk punk like ghost mice, to the embarrassingly cheesy like lily allen, and a lot in between.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

most gorgeous veiw in my life thus far: the middle of the atlantic ocean where you are so far away from everything you can see the curve of the earth and the water is the most amazing colour i've ever experienced!
