About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Sarah: To learn Spanish // John: Escape work and do interesting things
ABOUT ME
Sarah: I have lived in Tassie my whole life and always find myself coming back here no matter where i travel. I love being around family & friends. I see myself as a positive thinker & beleive negative thoughts will only results in negative outcomes.
John: Firstly i guess im more of a country person than a city person (although i love visiting cities) and I enjoy time with family (2 brothers and a sister). I am easy to get along with and love to joke around. Hearing other peoples' points of views on the world is something which i always look forward to. .
PHILOSOPHY
John: If you ever have a choice of a superpower make it the ability to remember - things are way to easily forgotten and have a good time
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We are newcomers, but really like the concept, and although we see ourselves more as hosts we look forward to staying with people in their areas
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Sarah: I havent really done much couchsurfing yet, we did stay with someone in Chile, which we really loved. We cant wait to get more experiences!! //
John: no official experience but since my family moved to Tasmania we have played host to lots of people whom we had never met from the UK and Ireland.
Interests
Sarah: Travelling, music, reading, festivals, meeting new people and my friends. //
John: whats happening in the world is an interest (if you can call it that) you cant get enough news
when it comes to sport i enjoy Aussie rules football, squash, tennis, bushwalking, indoor soccer (however im no good at any of them) I love watching nearly all sports - especially live at the event

Music, Movies, and Books
Sarah: Books; anything fiction, with action and a bit of romance :) Movies; about the same.
John: no specific music open to all I prefer movies based on real events, which inspire you to learn more and comedies for a laugh Same with books, i will pretty much go to the non-fiction section straight away
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sarah: The most amazing thing i've done would be having the opportunity to travel, it really opens your eyes up, i would even say it has changed me for the better!
John: Nothing particularly amazing comes to mind, but hump backed whales jumping out of the water was a sight to remember
Fainting after a tiny cut on my thumb is amazingly embarrassing
