I've participated with this website for well over a decade, both offering up my place and surfing all over North and Central America. I have found it an amazing resource for all of us dirtbaggers.

My entry from 8 years ago... I was way more of an idealist then:
Community living, spreading environmental consciousness, simple alternative technologies, finding balance, alternative social systems, tasting different cultures, and growing lots of food!!! all knowledge for empowerment and self sufficiency.

They have since simplified to climbing, the outdoors, mushrooms, and hopefully soon being ecological restoration.
