Simeon Gatev is a final-year student of MA (Hons) English & Creative Writing at the University of Dundee. He is a book reviewer at the local Dundonian magazine, Dundee University Review of the Art (DURA), as well as at OnlineBookClub.

He is also published author at Dundee University Humanities Journal and ghostwriter for ProficientWriters.com His literary career and his naivety still drives him to believe he can bring a positive change to the world through his writing. As part philosopher and part imaginarian, his writing is often more conceptual and abstract than concrete, clear-cut, and realistic. As a result, his poetics are an attempt to translate the vague art-life world into the secular one, and try to make sense of those phenomena in humanly logical terms.
