About Me

CURRENT MISSION

stretch more.

ABOUT ME

Hey everyone! I've been on the site for a few years now, but am happy to be in a place in life where I can finally host & get back on the road myself!

As for me, I am torn in a love affair between urban & rural places...I have lived in Berkeley and Montreal, Glide and Great Falls. Corvallis has been completely enchanting thus far.

A friend once said that 1/3 of their time was spent "contemplating the acquisition and preparation of food." I can get on board with that. Food brings people together. There's nothing I love more than cooking for some friends, sharing laughs & a few drinks. I love going for a drive in search of hidden and forgotten places, winding up in a dive bar, and making friends with some locals. I enjoy going to the farmer's market (if only for the samples and food carts), to wine tastings, and to random festivals (i.e. "What the Hay?" in Utica, MT).

PHILOSOPHY

My late cousin, who was a sister to me, lived by philosophy of "Carpe Diem"...I don't care if it's trite, it has profound meaning for me now.
