About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To have adventures constantly

ABOUT ME

I work in the publishing industry as an editorial assistant and feel lucky to have gotten a job in the field I've always wanted to be in! I'm also continuing my studies in editing at the University of Chicago so I feel like I'm really on my way to where I want to be.

I love living in Chicago and explore the city a little more everyday. It's a great place to be.

Travel is a bit of an obsession and it's frustrating to know that so often just getting where I want to go is too expensive to make my travel-dreams a reality. I'm always saving, always looking for a deal, and am always ready for my next adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment, I can't offer a place to stay but I CAN answer any and all questions about Chicago! I'm working quite a bit while living outside the city, so while I'm all for meeting up, it may take some orchestrating.

HOWEVER, I welcome any and all messages for soon-to-be visitors of my fair city!

I'm also ready to couchsurf the country and maybe the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience was part of a road trip out west. I stayed with a lovely host in Portland and am thankful I made that decision all the time! I don't know if there could have been a better way to see Portland and I'm looking forward to doing it again as soon as possible!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. My life in Belgium. I miss it everyday.

2. Traveling alone for the first time.

3. Climbing my first mountain at sunrise in Yellowstone. Reaching the top was one of my proudest moments!

4. Petting a real, live wolf at Devil's Tower when I was 11. It was someone's "pet" but still. Awesome.
