I’m an English expat who has been in Luxembourg now for 2 years. I lived in Spain for 4 years before, and the Netherlands for 8 years before that, and travelled the world for 10 years before that. So, you could say I’m naturally nomadic.

I have travelled extensively also in the world and people have always been very kind to me, offering places to stay when I was hungry, had no money, etc. So, I’m here because I like to meet people from different parts of the world, to share a few stories and do someone a favour!

Intereses

I have very varied interests. I read a lot….of just about anything. I write stuff, take pictures of stuff. I like walking in the country, forest, hills, mountains. I fly paragliders. I like cycling round the parks and running through the streets. I like movies and TV, dinner out, cocktails (mojitos!), etc etc. There's not much I don't like. Except Brussels sprouts. Even thinking of Brussel sprouts makes me feel ill.

Música, películas y libros

Movies: The Seven Samurai (or, indeed, anything by Kurosawa). The Count of Monte Cristo (best adventure story ever told), The Outlaw Josey Wales ('Dying ain't much of a livin', boy.") and lots of documentaries about art, history, geography, adventure. etc.

Books - where to start. Come and see my library and you'll see how impossible it is for me to choose a favourite. Having said that, when I die, I'll be buried with a collection of work by Jorge Luis Borges.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate. All these..moments....will be lost, in time, like...tears...in..rain....*

Thing I've learned above all else from travelling the world, is that everyone has a story. Everyone. Doesn't matter how mundane their lives seems to be, there's a fascinating story in there somewhere.

Theflat is a completely liveable space. It has a double sofa bed in a private room. It has Wi-Fi, charging facilities. Shower, bath, washing (laundry) facilities.
